REVAMPING of a bottom ash processing line
FGME participated in the design of this plant for treating slag from household waste incineration in collaboration with the company MTB (France).
The machines installed separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals (including stainless steel) present in the 45T/H flow as well as unburned paper and plastics.
The line makes the treatment of the fine bottom ashes (smaller than 8mm) by using a combination of ferrous and non-ferrous separators to increase the efficiency of the metals separation in a wet stream.
The treated bottom ashes at the output are clean enough for further use as base for concrete production.
